Residency 11:11 and Playground London present their second artist in resident Lisa Sudhibhasilp. Lisa is a French artist based in Amsterdam working in sculpture and installation. In her four weeks with us she based her research on architectural models and the representation of "things" through model making.
By deconstructing and abstracting the formal - and functional - aspects of miniature representation, she proposed to look at « models » as a concept and medium for her artistic practice. During her time in London she has been investigating spaces such as the Sir John Soane’s Model Room and the V&A dollhouse collection.
